The Turcuisine mix is equally impressive with a more than ample serving of doner kebab, the house specialty of thinly sliced spit roasted marinated lamb and beef, as well as a chicken and a lamb shish kebab, a grilled lamb chop and kofte, patties of lamb and beef, served with yogurt sauce, tomato sauce and rice or, if you prefer, french fries.

  • THE GOURMETRO: Turcuisine in Herndon. So. GOOD. Very friendly and attentive service, for starters. We ordered the dolmas as a starter (rice pilaf wrapped in grape leaves, served with tzatziki and lemon)and they were SO. GOOD. Well, assuming you like them to start with...
Then, Adana kebabs in pita and a Kofta. I have to say, they were some of the best kebabs I've had. I've had some issues with kebabs being heavy and food-coma inducing, but these were light, and well-spiced, with some of the fluffiest pitas I've had. with two Turkish coffees sweetened to taste, lunch ran approximately $35 for three people. I highly recommend you try this restaurant if you're in the area

Took a large group of 11 coworkers here for lunch. Attention to detail and service were impeccable; food was great.

I eat here 2 or 3 times every week. The owners are very involved with every aspect of your meal and they go to great lengths to insure that you are completely satisfied with your meal. I personally like the Adana Kabob and the Salmon dish. The lamb chops are also very good.

  • This place rocks! I spent some time in Turkey, and the food and preparation here are the real deal. The place is beautiful also, so I was surprised at the quality of "home cooking" Turkish as opposed to "fancy restauant" food. The wine list has a dozen reasonably priced selections - the only Turkish wines are KAVAKLIDERE, which is a bit of an acquired taste. Good beers including Efes and Efes dark. Food prices were very reasonable as well.

  • The food is consistently excellent---well prepared and presented and nicely flavored. The service can be a bit amateurish and uneven, but the servers are always friendly and well-intentioned. A great place for a quick, full meal.

  • The food here is exquisite! Not your average kabob shop at all, the mezza platter is spectacular, everything they serve is not only delicious but beautiful!

  • Comfortable contemporary atmosphere with a touch of Turkey. The menu has something for everyone, and it's all delicious, from the mezze which are the traditional appetizers to the Turkish "pizzas" and everything in between. The service is attentive, eager to please, and the food is always on time. We have been there with our family numerous times, each time a pleasant experience. Would highly recommend, a fair priced meal in a clean comfortable place.

  • The restaurant is small and without frills, another mall eatery but one with a twist: primarily Turkish food packing plenty of spicy heat---the lamb adana kebab has a chili infusion and a hot dipping sauce besides, making this the entrée or wrap of choice. Don’t skip past the silken hummus either, a real delight with its rich, nutty flavor. It’s available as a side, but you’ll want to order it as an appetizer as well. We also recommend the baklava---dense, moist and super-rich.

  • This strikingly low-lit restaurant exudes an urban chill that you'll be hard-pressed to find elsewhere in suburbia. The intimate (read matchbox small) Turcuisine is staffed by some of the nicest waitstaff you'll find. Of course, they could have been overly indulgent towards me due to the fact that I was one of 3 groups of diners that night - it was a Wednesday. But I like to think they treat every customer to bright smiles and spot-on service. The food was typical Turkish fare, above-par in taste and design. I would have like to have lingered over my boat-shaped pide and shiny stuffed grape leaves.
